CLASS OPTIONS

FIXED OTION

  • You will need to give us all dates for the 10 or 5 sessions before your first class via email info@paintboxstudios.org.

  • The classes can be spread over 3 months for a set of 5, and 4 months for a set of 10 from the date of the first class.

  • All dates are fixed and if you miss one class, this cannot be replaced.

FLEXI OPTION

  • All classes can be taken over 3 months for a set of 5, and 4 months for a set of 10 starting from the date of the first class.

  • If there is a change in dates, you must inform Paintbox Studios by email.

  • You can cancel a class and not lose it by giving us at least 24 hrs notice via email.

We will require the full amount to be paid at least 1 week before the first class to guarantee your place. If payments are delayed, Paintbox Studios reserves the right to offer the place to another client.

IF YOU HAVE NOT BOOKED A CLASS, IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO TURN UP AT THE STUDIO AND ASSUME YOUR PLACE WILL BE AVAILABLE.

IF YOU MISS YOUR CLASS 2 WEEKS CONSECUTIVELY, AND HAVE NOT INFORMED US, WE CANNOT GUARANTEE A PLACE AT YOUR REQUIRED DAY AND CLASS TIME.

A full refund for any option will only apply on medical grounds, accompanied by a doctor’s note.

MATERIALS

All materials are provided in the cost of your classes.

However, should you wish to work on canvases that are larger than 30 inches x 20 inches, you will need to discuss the size required with Paintbox Studios, as storage could be an issue. You will need to pay for the larger size canvas at cost or you can purchase the canvas yourself and bring it to the studio.


Paintbox Studios will not be responsible for any damage or loss of private property

COMPLETED WORK

When a work has been completed, we take photographs to upload on our Facebook Page and on our Instagram account. This is for marketing purposes. We will always ask permission before taking the photographs.


We expect students to take home any work they complete as soon as possible, dependent on the medium. Paintbox Studios will only keep finished work for 6 months. After this time, the work will be recycled.

 

Studio etiquette:

Please follow the following etiquette:

  • Arrive only 5 minutes before the start of class. You will not be allowed into the studio before then

  • Parents, please make sure to pick up your child/children on time

  • If you are going to be late either for the start of the class, or if you are picking up children, please phone

  • Please also make sure that your mobile phones are either on silent or switched off during classes. If you need to take a call, please do so in another room

  • Come to classes wearing clothes that are appropriate for a working studio (paint may splash onto clothes


With regards to our child students, we expect the following:

  • For the child to behave in the same manner as if he/she were at school

  • To respect the tutors and fellow students

For any child that is deemed to be disruptive, Paintbox Studios will undertake the following steps:

Step 1: A conversation with the parent, qualified by email

Step 2: A last chance email

Step 3: Cancellation of remaining classes with no refund
