Children and teenager’s classes

Kids classes

Classes are offered by set of 5 or 10 sessions and last 2 hours each, all materials are provided.

This course is suitable for children aged 7 years or older.

All new students will start by a 2 hour drawing class.

The first session will be observational drawing exercise covering measuring, proportions and many other basics, allowing our tutors to both instruct and observe levels of ability.

The initial 2 hours session give us, and the child a chance to get an understanding of how best to set a structure for the future classes.

After school and weekend

The classes provide a step by step guide to enable each child to develop their artistic skills and knowledge at their own pace. A combination of art mediums such as oils on canvases, charcoal, graphite pencils and pastels on paper, and collage work will be explored.

All children will learn the fundamental practices in fine art such as composition, perspective, tone, texture, contrast, colour theory, pattern and material manipulation.

Art scholarship Portfolio for school

This course is for children with a view to sitting an art entrance exam for schools or applying for a scholarship where a portfolio of artwork needs to be submitted.

Most schools will require a portfolio of between 8-13 pieces of works. We will recommend starting the classes at least a year before the submission deadline.

This course is specifically tailored for students to both prepare for as well as be supported through A level and GCSE Art projects.

The course of Study will be individually tailored to the student’s needs.
