Paintbox Studios is a collaboration between a group of multicultural artists based in London, who are passionate about art and anything to do with art.
Aside from teaching, each tutor is also a practicing artist, working and developing their own work with the aim of exhibiting and selling.
All tutors have taught for a number of years and are graduates of leading art colleges in London.
Adam Vass is an Artist and Educator. His studio work involves painting, drawing and installation using an archive of collected source material to form a language of signs that become ornament.
Having lived in Canada and the USA, Adam currently resides in London where he received a Foundation Degree in Art and Design, A First Class BA in Painting from University of the Arts, and a Masters Degreein Fine Art from Goldsmiths University.
Adam has taught Drawing, Painting and Portfolio Development for several institutions and has worked as a technician for many international projects including New York and Venice.
He is currently an associate professor at Wimbledon College of Art as well as being a partner and tutor at London Paintbox Studios.
Parisian born Anarkali Checkrahamatoula is a London Based Artist and tutor. Her recent work has a cross cultural narrative, based on extensive travel and familial connections to India, it's architecture, colour and culture. Anarkali brings poignancy to her compositions through isolation and use of negative space. The experiments with materiality and surface treatments bring vitality and risk to her work. Works on paper are also an important part of her practice, with a firm grounding in observational drawing as well as technical proficiency with pastels She trained at City and Guilds school of art and design as well as studying under Adabanji Alade and projects from the Royal Drawing School.
Anarkali is a partner and tutor at Paintbox Studios.

Fanny Lacroix is a French born, bi-lingual Artist and administrator residing in London since 1997. Fanny has worked in many capacities for several London Art Organizations utilizing her educational background in Visual Marketing.
She has focused on the structuring, promotion , and administration of several Studios and schools to ensure their smooth operation.
As well as her current work at Heatherleys school of fine art, Fanny is a founder and partner at London Paintbox Studios where she has brought her experience to great effect dealing with client liaison and organizing educational projects.
As an Artist, Fanny's painterly work draws on architecture. She has a critical and personal response to urban spaces, often referencing brutalist structures and design.
She has recently participated in group shows, as well as a private large scale collaborative commission.
Paintbox Studiosmoved to a larger, beautifully lit storefront studio between Hammersmith and chiswick, conveniently located just a few minutes walk from Ravenscourt Park Underground Station. This is a great area, with local shops, cafes and good parking
Our new Kings Street studio will be open from Tuesday 11th of July and as usual we will be running classes all summer.
